Our recently adopted foster: RITA
Rita is a 2 year old female husky (approx. 45lbs) available for adoption through Second Chance at Love HS run by Cheri Lucas. Rita was originally rescued from Lancaster shelter in California in 2023 and is now located in Park City Utah and being fostered with us since April 2024.
-She is a super social dog, good with all dogs and people. She’s good with dogs she comes across on hikes, our pack and all of my client’s dogs. She’s never met a dog she didn’t get a long with. Same goes for people. She’s super friendly and has never met a stranger.
-She’s highly athletic and would do best in home that is taking her for bike rides, runs, etc on a regular basis (think like 4-5x a week). If you’re looking for a bike buddy, she’s your girl! She absolutely LOVES IT.
- While fostering with us, she has gotten all of the basic training like walking on a leash staying by my hip (in the safe spot), crate training, etc. She sleeps in her crate every night, takes naps in there, etc and loves it. We also taught her how to bike with us safely and are currently working on off leash training.
